Fr. Marc Hopps
Parish PriestFather Marc Hopps was born in Bay City and his family were members of St. Vincent de Paul Church, now Saint Catherine of Siena Parish. He attended All Saints High School, after Holy Trinity Elementary, then University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Catholic studies. He attended Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, completing a Masters in Divinity and a degree in Theology (STB). He was ordained to the priesthood on May 31, 2019 by Bishop Walter Hurley and served as parochial vicar at Holy Spirit Parish in Shields from July 1, 2019 for one year. He has served since July 1, 2020 at St. Brigid of Kildare Parish in Midland and St. Mary University Parish in Mt. Pleasant. Fr. Marc is looking forward to his journey here at St. Gabriel and to serving as the Pastor here.

Janet Woronoff
BookkeeperJanet began working as Bookkeeper at St. Gabriel in September 2014. She has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Saginaw Valley State University and ministered through her work at the Bay County Sheriff Department for 30 years. She is widowed, a mother of grown twins, David and Rachel, and grandmother of three: Micayla, Kate and Ryan. She is a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Bay City where she serves as Eucharistic Minister, Lector and Parish Council member.
