My name is Kim Buchmann and I am the Preschool Teacher and Child Care Director at Auburn Area Catholic School.  I have been at Auburn Area Catholic School since 2000.  I have a degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University along with a Child Care Accreditation from Delta College.  Prior to joining Auburn Area Catholic School, I worked for six years at two child care centers and was a substitute teacher for Midland Public Schools.  I believe in learning through hands on and experimental learning.  Teaching and working with children has always been a passion of mine.  I thoroughly enjoy being with children every day.  Preschool is the first opportunity for children to get exposed to an organized class routine and to learn to interact with each other.  My husband and I have two children attending Western High School.  In my free time, I enjoy drawing, painting and crafting.  I also enjoy dancing and working out.
