| Curriculum: |
- Core subjects include religion, math, language arts, science & health, social studies, and technology.
- Spanish, music, art, and physical education classes are offered via the shared time program with Bay City Public Schools.
- Attention is also given to safety classes utilizing the Child LURES program. Community sponsored programs
such as D.A.R.E., The American Red Cross, "Together We Prepare," and Disabilities Awareness Team of Bay
County are frequent and welcome guest instructors.
- Our Behavior Curriculum helps students to develop ownership and responsibility by teaching these life skills:
- Be Prompt and Prepared
- Respect Authority
- Respect the Rights of Others
- Respect Property
- Display a Concern for Learning
- Display Appropriate Social Skills
- Students are expected to perform to the best of their ability and to use their God given talents.
Students should come to school ready to learn and to help their classmates learn by creating an atmosphere
conducive to learning.

| Technology Facts: |

| Over the past few years we have updated and made improvements to our parish and school technology
infrastructure. |
- The parish and school are networked to a server and two printers.
- We have eight Think Pad laptop computers and a portable wireless printer, with the addition of two new laptops in 2007.
- Internet access is available in each classroom and office as well as wireless access in the portable laptop lab.
- In addition, all classrooms are equipped with cable, TV, and VCR/DVD players.
- All staff members have e-mail and frequently communicate with parents.
- Students are growing in technological literacy, a skill needed for the 21st Century.

| Library: |
| |
| Each class has a weekly library period. The library may be used at other times with the permission of the class
teacher and if there is an adult in the libraryto supervise and the room is available. Library books are school
property and will be replaced if they are damaged or lost. |
