Youth Ministry provides both formal and informal
experiences for young people to learn, celebrate
and serve as members of the Catholic community
and to grow in their understanding of Christ’s
message. To be effective, ministry with youth
seeks to achieve a balance among the many
components of a comprehensive ministry. Each of
these components revolves around the community’s
own life. The following are the eight
components of Youth Ministry as outlined in the
document “Renewing The Vision”, National
Conference of Catholic Bishops: Advocacy,
Catechesis, Evangelization, Community Life,
Leadership Development, Pastoral Care/Guidance,
Prayer and Worship, and Justice, Peace and
Service.
St Anthony/St.
Joseph Parish Youth Ministry Sessions are on
Sunday evenings from
6:00 – 7:45 p.m. at the
St. Anthony Worship Site.
